Kirkland on entering the ministry; ms. copies of some letters by George Whitefield; excerpts of essays criticizing slavery and the slave trade written by British and U.S. abolitionists; Harris's notes on the appropriate course of study for students; a listing of sermons to be acquired for the Massachusetts Historical Society collections; and histories of settlement in Dorchester, S.C., and Georgia, particularly Midway.
